Founded in 2016 by me, Sami, and my brother Hamid, along with our brothers and sisters, BeniMrirtRugs is a family business committed to sharing the timeless beauty of authentic Moroccan rugs. We take immense pride in being one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of high-quality handmade rugs, with clients spanning the globe.

Our craft is rooted in the heart of Morocco’s Middle Atlas region, where we specialize in Beni Mrirt rugs—artisanal masterpieces that can only be created in the M’rirt region. With our weaving atelier in M’rirt and washing atelier in Khenifra, every rug is crafted entirely in-house, ensuring there’s no middleman.

At BeniMrirtRugs, our skilled artisans are the soul of our creations. Coming from families with a long lineage of weaving tradition, they are masters of the unique double-tight knot technique, exclusive to the M’rirt region. This intricate method ensures unmatched durability, texture, and detail, setting Beni Mrirt rugs apart as timeless works of art.

We use premium wool sourced exclusively from the Middle Atlas Mountains, handspun by Amazigh women to maintain its natural softness, strength, and integrity. Each rug undergoes our signature bio-friendly washing process, using secret techniques and no chemicals, resulting in a rug so soft and luxurious it feels like walking on clouds.

Additionally, 15% of our profits support rural community development, fostering better lives for their families and communities.
